I like to attend webinars to stay up to date on certain standards and even refresh my memory on basic information from time to time. They are also a great learning tool for new employees to gain perspective from outside of your organization. On Wednesday, December 13th from 1:00PM - 2PM CT our Director of Clinical Education, Stephen Kovach, will be presenting the Art of Brushing. Even better, you will get a free CEU for attending and taking a quiz!
During this webinar, you will learn the fundamentals of instrument manual cleaning performed with brushes and wipes. We will also cover the two essential components of manual cleaning: friction and fluidics. Friction (e.g., rubbing/scrubbing the soiled area with a brush) is an old and dependable method. Learn about the importance of brushes and the role they plays in ensuring a medical device is as clean as possible.
Attendees will: -
Learn the anatomy of a brush
-
Review how to properly inspect a brush
-
Understand how to properly brush a medical device
-
Learn how to pick the correct brush for the appropriate task
