The employees of Healthmark Industries embodied the spirit of giving this holiday season, collecting over 1,200 pounds of food for Peace Lutheran's Food pantry in Detroit.  Serving approximately 50 families per week, the pantry has been providing food staples to the eastside neighborhood for nearly 10 years. 

Open to anyone in need, not just church members, Peace Lutheran's Food Pantry also provides lunch each Tuesday, regularly bringing in crowds of over 50 people every week.  Birdia Hambright, the food pantry director, was overjoyed by Healthmark's generosity. She said the donations will replenish the shelves and allow her to continue to provide food to families for the next four to six weeks.
