Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn

Summer has been good this year. Hopefully everyone reading this had the opportunity to get out and enjoy the summer sun. If you weren't so lucky, you've got a few days left; summer doesn't officially end until September 22nd. After that, we'll be heading full speed into autumn. Autumn is a fun time in Michigan. The fall colors are beautiful and there's always so much to do and experience. There are apple orchards, cider mills, hay rides, crackling fires, cozy sweaters to be worn, pumpkins to be carved, Halloween, pumpkin spice drinks, football games, tailgating and fresh, crisp air to breathe in. What's not to love?! Not to mention, my birthday is in the Fall, so I may be a little biased. Although my birthday isn't listed as an important event on Pure Michigan's™ website, they do have a lot of information on other events, scenic autumn destinations and when/where the colors will be peaking this year.

If you end up getting too hot or cold during the season (it is Michigan weather, right?), we do offer heating and cooling vests as well as Cool Aids to help keep your body comfortable. We hope you enjoy these last few days of summer and have an even better autumn!

Stay cool (or warm!),
