HEALTHMARKET DIGEST
TEMPERATURES RISING (HOPEFULLY)
ISSUE NO. 504
Being born and raised in Michigan you would think that I would be used to cold winters by now. Some winters are mild and bearable, but weather like last week will make you want to hibernate the rest of the Winter.

Of course last week we all experienced the polar vortex, some areas worse than others. Minneapolis, for example, reached 23 below zero. Many residents of the Midwest experienced negative 50 degrees with wind chill. The arctic blast was so cold that exposed skin could suffer frostbite in a matter of minutes. Having experienced this phenomenon, I will now cross off visiting the Arctic Circle from my bucket list.

On the bright side, Punxsutawney Phil the groundhog could not find his shadow this year. And as the legend goes, this means we're in for an early spring!

While we can’t control the weather outside, we can manage it within our departments. Check out the coupon below for temperature monitoring solutions. Stay warm and safe out there!
