Labor Day has come and gone and October is almost upon us. October has become widely recognized as Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Many great charities take part in this yearly campaign with wonderful programs to help increase awareness, raise funds for research and offer support.
Healthmark will once again be supporting Breast Cancer Awareness Month this October by extending our pink PPE accessory and apparel line while donating a portion of each sale to Gilda's Club Metro Detroit, an affiliate of the Cancer Support Community.
Gilda's Club Metro Detroit provides free social and emotional support for men, women and children living with cancer, as well as their families and friends. Gilda's Club offers more than 120 activities, including support and networking groups, art, music, education lectures, children and teen activities, workshops, and social events. Gilda's Club Metro Detroit has provided support, community and laughter to more than 10,000 courageous members since 1998.
