In a few weeks, you may start noticing an increasing number of colleagues and friends growing new facial hair during November. You might be asking yourself, are mustaches of the 70’s & 80’s making a fashionable comeback? Most likely these new mustache growers are participating in "Movember".
The Movember Foundation started organizing events in 2004. Since then, it's gained popularity and become an annual event involving the growing of mustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and suicide prevention. The overall goal of Movember is to increase awareness and change the face of men's health.
