Murphy’s Law, in its essence, states that if anything can go wrong, it will. This seems particularly true when things are especially busy, like around the holidays. Our family was no exception this year. Just as the demand for cleaning dishes heated up, the dishwasher handle/panel broke. Each time you pull to open the door the whole piece would pull out. Needless to say, this doesn’t make for a highly functioning device. Manual cleaning, the go-to now, becomes particularly cumbersome. We placed a call to the service tech, who was able to quickly fit us in. Upon his arrival and investigation a big sigh ensued….“what?” we asked. He told us the part can be replaced but, like many things these days, there is a major supply chain disruption. We could all feel our hands pruning at the sheer thought of more dishes. However, he did share some good news (Calgon, take me away!). He could temporarily fix the panel (duct tape) and that should hold us over until the part arrives...phew!
