Monitoring the Temperature
ISSUE NO. 662
Skiing, ice fishing and snowmobiling are among some of the most popular outdoor winter activities in Michigan. For those of us that prefer to stay warm during the cold winter months, binge watching favorite shows on Netflix is probably the most popular alternative in Michigan. During these weeks of February, it's not unusual to see single digit or below zero degree days and the winds can be brutal. Even outdoor enthusiasts will kick on the fireplace and stay inside when the weather gets dangerously cold.

Monitoring temperature is important for us to forecast the temperature outside. It's also important in the Central Sterile Department. Unlike predicting the outdoors in Michigan, there are tools to help CS professionals manage room temperature through temperature monitoring products. These products are critical to use during reprocessing, for monitoring surrounding temperatures and to keep you safe from extreme temperatures.
