I took a road trip this past weekend to Silver Lake Sand Dunes. If you haven’t been to that area on the westside of Michigan, there are beautiful
sand dunes on Lake Michigan that you can drive dune buggies and other off road recreational vehicles on. The sand dunes are an exciting experience and Lake Michigan is my favorite of all the Great Lakes. The sunsets on the beach are absolutely gorgeous.
While driving on my trip, I noticed traffic was lighter than usual for a summer weekend. According to the
Washington
Post, 61 percent of Americans said gas prices were a major factor when planning summer vacation trips. Another likely factor is that we are coming
off a holiday weekend and many people are staying home. Regardless, my road trip still took longer than usual, due to all of the construction. It seemed as if there were orange barrels every 20 miles, ha!
Fortunately, gas prices and road construction don't factor into SPD instrument transportation and storage. Whether it's microsurgery, scope, or
laparoscopic trays, it's important to select the appropriate transportation and storage equipment designed for those instruments.
Whatever your travel plans are, far or local, I hope you enjoy your time and stay safe!
