National Colon Cancer Awareness Month & GI Nurses and Associates Week

ISSUE NO. 719

March is National Colon Cancer Awareness Month. Colorectal Cancer (cancer of the colon or rectum) is the second leading cause of cancer deaths in the United States among both men and women. The CDC recommends screenings beginning at the age of 45. Regular screenings are the key to preventing colorectal cancer. To help raise awareness by educating individuals on the benefits of screenings, visit the coupon area below to request a complimentary Blue Ribbon PPE Decal.

This week is also GI Nurses and Associates Week. All of us at Healthmark would also like to take a moment to recognize all of the professionals that are dedicated to the safe and effective practice of gastroenterology and endoscopy. Thank you for your hard work and dedication. Enjoy your week!
