Small Adjustments, Big Impact

ISSUE NO. 846

Everyday life is filled with tools and features designed to adjust for convenience and effectiveness. A seatbelt that slides to fit just right or a stretchable food storage lid that covers any container. These adaptable tools save time, reduce frustration, and keep everything running smoothly.

Sterile Processing presents a similar challenge: instruments come in all shapes and sizes. Organizing these instruments for effective cleaning can sometimes feel like forcing the wrong tool into the wrong job. The Adjustable Stringer is designed to solve that problem.

The Adjustable Stringer is designed to adjust to all sizes of instruments for more effective cleaning of hard-to-reach areas that may contain bioburden. It is offered in three different lengths (8”, 13” and 17”) and can also be adjusted to the optimal width for placement of instruments inside a tray.

When instruments are secured properly and bioburden is effectively managed, the stage is set for successful sterilization. Small adjustments in workflow can make a big difference.
